Jill Garl to Join Digital Art Academy Team!

Jill will be joining the Digital Art Academy Team and will be introducing you to her wonderful style of painting. Look for more on Jill shortly. Jill’s first class will begin on January 3, 2009!  Registration for Jill’s class “Painting Petals” will begin on November 22nd. Class size is limited to 20 only.

Registration is now open for our Annual Holiday Open Studio at Digital Art Academy .

I am pleased to announce that Jinny Brown and David Gell will be joining the DAA team and will be our Guest Instructors! Not only will we have lots of fun painting and creating you are bound to learn something new!

DAA is pleased to announce that we will be donating to the “Gift of Life” fund for Pam and John Derry. $15 from every registration will be donated to the fund. For further information about this visit Painter Talk Forum.

Holiday Open Studio is four weeks long. You will receive a new lesson each week. You are free to work at your own pace in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. Your classroom is accessible 24 hours a day for your enjoyment. The first lesson will be posted November 22nd.

If you have never taken a Open Studio class now is a great time!

Guest Instructors:

Jinny Brown

Jinny has more than 12 years of experience with Corel Painter, starting with Fractal Design 4.0 and continuing through Painter X.1.
She has worked on the last three Corel Painter version Beta teams. She shares her expertise in several Painter related forums daily never leaving a question unanswered. She maintains two websites, PixelAlley launched in October 1999 and TutorAlley Forums launched in August 2002, are both Corel Painter focused sites.

David Gell

David has been involved with Corel Painter for several years, making a name for himself in creating and sharing his wonderful custom brushes and other resources within the Painter community, as well as being active on several Painter forums. Believing strongly in a ‘no fear’ approach, he loves the challenge of exploring new ideas, and taking Painter to the limits. Having previously participated as a beta tester, David currently sits on the Painter XI Advisory Council.
