As you go through the lessons in this course, you will learn to incorporate a combination of collage and digi-scrap techniques to make four different projects. In the process, I hope to teach you a few new tricks about Painter. Your finished projects will be suitable for printing, either to hang on your walls or to use for greeting cards (my favorite use of computer graphics).

This class will instill fundamentals of using the Auto-painting palettes in ®Corel Painter. Time will be spent reviewing the Auto-Painting palettes and then going on to create your own expressive paintings using various techniques. This class will include a live webinar session once each week, where all students may collaborate with the instructor and students using this time to show your work and receive critique. This is a great opportunity to learn how you can use the Auto-painting palettes in your creative process.

This class will cover texturizing paintings, adding new and different backgrounds with the use of Photoshop and Painter to create a masterpiece of your imagination! Place your subject in a background that is unique to them as a person, or create a fantasy background that will come to life with different textures, special papers, and special techniques to take your portrait paintings above and beyond my first class in Portrait Painting – Part I.
Diana will also teach you how to enhance your portraits with basic embellishments! Take your painting to the highest level of finishing by adding even more depth and texture with this process! By applying just a few products you will have a painting that resembles the look and feel of a traditional work of art.
