The same brush engines the developers use for Corel Painter are available for the user. The ability to manipulate brushes is a very powerful tool. This class is designed to give the student a basic working knowledge of brush making and will demonstrate the process in a logical and systematic way.

Painter 3, Advanced Techniques will be a series of classes focusing on Painter functions at an advanced level. This course will focus on Selections, Channels, and Masks with an emphasis on channels. At least one work will be created each week designed to utilize the new information presented. You must complete Part One and Part Two prior to enrolling in this class, however the instructor can allow advanced users access without the prerequisite.

As you go through the lessons in this course, you will learn to incorporate a combination of collage and digi-scrap techniques to make four different projects. In the process, I hope to teach you a few new tricks about Painter. Your finished projects will be suitable for printing, either to hang on your walls or to use for greeting cards (my favorite use of computer graphics).
