Kathy has drawn and painted on and off throughout her life including her childhood years. She tries many different mediums but always preferred oils. She is self taught, but took many professional courses over the years. She enjoyed a few college level courses but her life circumstances interrupted that pursuit. She went on to teach Beginning Painting for Adult Education in her community.

She and her husband  went into photography together which absorbed thier time and energy for many years. Putting in a lot of miles all over Eastern US with cameras in hand. With the advent and introduction to the digital painting world; Kathy found herself back to thinking about painting and drawing again.

Upon retirement, she discovered Photoshop and Painter and found the digital process phenomenal. She found online classes and took off from there!

Kathy says “I love the interaction with other artists as exciting as doing my own work.
The awe I experience in viewing the talent of others is one of my biggest joys”!
