Lesson 2

Refining the Composition: In this second phase of your landscape painting, we move beyond the initial sketch to block in the background, establish core values, and define the foundational shapes of the trees. The focus here is not on fine detail, but on grounding your work by solidifying perspective, lighting, and composition to set the stage for your final piece.

Final Lesson

Depth, Detail, and Finishing Touches – Master the art of bringing your digital landscape to life. In this concluding session, we will refine your composition by establishing strong focal points, enhancing atmospheric perspective, and applying the final, deliberate strokes that transform a digital study into a professional-quality work of art.

Live Painting Session

I will be hosting a special live painting demonstration where you can observe professional techniques in action and learn how to apply color noise to your brush work, and ask questions as they arise. Can’t make it live? Don’t worry—the session will be recorded and available for all students to watch and re-watch at your convenience.
